I have wanted to go to the state of California in America since I was the second grader at the university. The reason is simple, I just want to meet one person that’s only. Richard Carpenter: He is one of the best persons I want to meet.

“The Carpenters” This name is very famous in Japan too. Probably, as there is no people who don’t know the name, they are very famous. They are musician.

I listened to their song when I was six, in the car. The song is “Top of the World”. As soon as I listened to the song, the song remained my ears. After I reached my house, I was humming the song.

There are many songs of Carpenters I like: “Yesterday Once More” “Close To You” “I Need to Be in Love” “We've Only Just Begun” “Only Yesterday” “Goodbye to Love” “Sing” and etcetera.

One night, I was watching TV program, and Richard appeared on the TV program. His talk and his human nature fascinated me. He was so cool!! I was excited. So I want to go to California to meet him. I want to talk with him and to hear his story. It may be one of my dreams.

Food/eating habits

I eat breakfast every day. My breakfast: one day is bread, sunny-side up egg, bacon and milk, one day is rice, miso soup, Japanese omelet, natto and etcetera. I eat lunch at gakushoku every weekday. I like menu of gakushoku. Especially, I like negitorodon, udon and karaagedon. When I eat lunch at gakushoku, I buy large serving, but I often eat snack on three p.m., because I am hungry at once. I often eat jagariko, umaibou and chocolate. I eat dinner with my family every day. I eat all of my dinner because my mother’s cooking is so good. Every one of my family likes my mother’s cooking.

"Wait and See"

Adam and Zak are twins look very similar, so people are always getting them mixed up.

One day, Zak had a nice idea, and talked it to Adam. But he didn’t talk his idea’s contents to him. He just say, “Wait and See…”

The next day, he went to the hairdresser, and he changed his hair color red instead of blond. When he walked out of the hairdresser, he thought there was no way people would mix up them.

When he backed home, he met the first person seeing him, his sister Abby. He thought she was surprised at his hair color. But she laughed when she saw his hair color, and she said, “You will have to wait and see!” After that, somehow, his mother and father said same thing as Abby. Because he was said to stay at his room until dinner time by mother, he went to his room, and he wait for the dinner time.

“Dinner time” said his mother. When he walked down the hall, they are wondered each other. Their hair color were same each other, red. Everyone started to laugh. “What are you boys going to do?” their father said. “How about if dye one of you back to blond?” said Abby. They nodded that. Finally, Adam was dyed his hair back to blond by Abby, she put some gel in Zak’s hair instead. Zak’s hair was looked like a hedgehog.

Then, Adam was called ‘Blondie’, Zak was called ‘Spike’ by friends.


I was not able to understand that Adam was called ‘Blondie’, but I was not able to understand that Zak was called ‘Spike’. Why was he called ‘Spike’? If his hair looks like a hedgehog, they should call him ‘Hedgehog’. I can’t understand that.

I Lost

I notice I lost my USB memory when I was going to do my homework at home. There are a lot of important data in the USB. So it is important for my college life. So I sought whole my house, but I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t remember where I used it last time. I went to my university to seek it for the time being. As soon as I reached, I went to the students section first, because there is lost article corner there. I sought and asked the staff, but I couldn’t find it.

When I ate lunch at my house, I remembered I used it last time at class of writing Ⅲ. As soon as I finished eating lunch, I went out home, and went to the university. As soon as I reached the university, I went to e-campus center, and I asked the staff “Was not there the lost thing of USB memory here?” Staff answered, “Yes, there is only one USB memory. This USB was sent here by one student at 2nd May. Is it yours? Here you are.”
I was so lucky!! Because is not there at students section, I thought no longer find it, but it was found!!

I won’t lose it again. I am always going to carry it with me and prevent me from forgetting it again.

Golden Week plans

My Golden Week plan: I think I am going to work my part-time job on third and fourth May, and write the essay, book review and diary. I am going to have to do my homework too. So, I will have no time to play with friends or to do anything. But I'm OK. I want to study for myself this year. After I work my part-time job, I will be so tired, but I am going to study every day. Actually, I want to go to play with my friends. This Golden Week will be hard for me.

My Hobbies

I have a lot of hobbies. For example, to go to Karaoke with my friends or brother, to watch the DVD alone at home, to play the catch ball or swimming with my friends, to read many comics. I have a lot of comics in my room. About one thousand. I often go to buy the comics once two weeks or once a month. When I go to buy the comics, I buy the comics more than five. To go the Karaoke, I usually go there with my girlfriend. But we don't go there very much. Because we have no time.

Music I like

I like R＆B, Rock and J-pop music. I always listen to a lot of songs of EXILE and The Carpenters. I relax to listen to their songs. The Carpenters, I bought their CDs first time when I was ten years old. I thought Karen Carpenter's voice was angel's voice when I listened to their song first time. Her voice is beautifully and kindly. So, The Carpenters is the best one of a lot of artists in my mind. My most favorite song in The Carpenters is "Top of the world". I have listened to this song since I was young.

First class

I can't remember the first class in the elementary school, but I remember the first class in my university. When I attended the first class in my university, I was nerves very much. Because it is different from my junior high school and high school. So in the first class I was not able to hear the contents of the class very much. When the class finished, I was so tired and thought I have to study hard in my college life. I remember the first class in my high school. The first class is Math. I remember it so interesting class. Teacher of Math was interesting teacher.

Double

I worked my part-time job today.
I got up early at 7:00 a.m. this morning. Today’s start time of part-time job was 10:30 a.m., but today’s place was so far from my house. It takes one hour by car to the place. Really, I don’t want to go because the place is so far.

I and my boss, we promised to meet each other yesterday. After I got up, I went out my house, and I went to the promised place at 9:00 a.m. After I reached the place, we started from there at once.

My part-time job is staff of wedding reception, the job’s contents change by a day. When the number of wedding reception is one a day, we must work for about 6 hours. We called that “Single”. When the numbers of wedding reception are two a day, we must work about 10 hours. We called that “Double”.

Today was “Double”, besides today’s place was different from the regular place. I don’t like the place because I am not to be accustomed to the place. And I worked at the place where I am not to be accustomed to, I was very tired more than usual.

I do not understand for some reason, I am taken to unusual place by my boss. I don’t want to be taken to unusual place… I want to work usual place.
