Introduction of KGU

There are 4 departments at KGU, the department of commercial science, the department of economics, the department of foreign language, and the department of social security.
First of all, there are 3 subjects at the department of commercial science, the commercial science, the management, and the hospitality. It is the scene studying about the marketing, the distribution, and the finance. For example, they learn about the computer, the booking, the account, and the multimedia, and more. Their courses are the maker of the finance, the preservation of health, and the business company, the licensed tax accountant, the certified public accountant, and the public employee.
Second, there are 3 subjects at the department of economics, the economics, the international economics, and the regal economics. They studies mainly about the microeconomics on the family budget, the business, and the society and the macroeconomics on the country, the area, Asia, or the farm, and the service industry. These are base of the economics.
Third, there are 2 subjects at the department of foreign language, the Britain and the United States, and the East Asia. We belong to the Britain and the United States subject. We learn the language study. There are a lot of non-Japanese lecturers. Our courses are the airline, the travel company, the hotel, the mass communication, the business company, the manufacturing industry, and the teacher of English and Japanese.
Next, there are 4 subjects at the department of social security, the social security of first and second, the social environment, and the child household welfare. This is only the department that can study the social security at night in Kyusyu. They can study at well- regulated facilities, the piano rehearsal hall, the article atelier, and various practice room. So, students of the child household welfare subject are able to the license of the childminder.
We don’t know much about the other department by now, but we understand doing other students study.

School cafeteria provides a lot of different kinds of lunches at a reasonable price compared with other restaurants. We believe this is one reason they use these places. We students don’t have so much money, so school cafeteria with reasonable price and good taste is popular among us.
There are many kind of dishes, we never get tired of eating every day. We have many recommended dishes, including curry and rice, hayashi rice, udon, fried chicken bowl, menu of the day and everything else. And there is a place you canbuy ice cream and hot dog. Do you want to know the price of these, don’t you? Price of these is 100 yen each. We can buy these by one coin. For example, when you are a little hungry, you should go there with only one coin.
If you want to get a low price for lunch one day but want to eat delicious food, you should go to KGU school cafeteria to eat lunch. Because lunchtime is from 12:10 to 13:00, there are a lot of students, so you should avoid this time. If you come on the time, you can buy lunch but you cannot take a seat.
There is a bakery at KGU. There are a lot of kinds of breads in the bakery. At the lunch time or a free time, a lot of people always come there, buy some breads, and continue eating their breads and talking with their friends. The place is popular with the students because it is to be able to eat fresh breads and the places are cheap. We often go to the bakery too, buy a coffee with some bread, and talk with friends or continue eating breads and do homework sometimes, so, we KGU students can choose some way to eat our lunch. When you look this, if you will want to come to the school cafeteria or the bakery, you can come any time. However, please avoid the time of lunch. Otherwise, maybe you will not be able to sit down the seat.

There are thirteen buildings in KGU. Also, there are also sports ground, swimming pool and tennis court. KGU is a large university. In building No.14, there are many computers. We can use the computers freely. In the first floor of the student hall, there is a convenience store. It is very useful for us to buy many things. For example, we can buy foods, drinks, stationery and so on. In the lunch break, a lot of students crowd at the convenience store. The store clerks look very busy at lunch time. In building No.12, there are big lecture rooms. The hall holds about 1000 people. The teacher speaks over a microphone because students standing behind the chair cannot hear the teacher`s voice. All most all the teachers are usually in the study room. In the first floor of building No. 4, there is the student affairs section. We can apply for a scholarship. Also, there are a lot of lost articles. My lunch box was in safekeeping when we forgot it. There is a university library in KGU. This is very big. This library is the biggest in Western Japan. This library has a good collection of many historical records. It is useful for us to search many things. Also, there are a lot of computers in the library. We can study individually because there are many desks. We often go to the library in KGU. We usually use the computer there to make reports. We want many people to come to KGU, and we want them to know about KGU.

There are about sixty circles in the university. Those circles are divided into four groups. The first group is a sports committee, and this group has about twenty nine clubs. Those clubs are the volley ball club, the basketball club, the soccer club, the baseball club, the badminton club, the kendo club, and the tennis club. The second group is a cultural committee, and this group has about eleven clubs. Those clubs are the calligraphy club, the art club, the photograph club, the tea ceremony club, the society for the study of traveling abroad club, the guitar club, and the flower arrangement club. The third group is a combination of circle, and this group has about eighteen clubs. Those clubs are the amateur lacrosse club, the green vacation, the NOAH, the amateur bowling club, the amateur passing club, and the amateur street dance club. The fourth group is Gakusyoku society, and this group has about twenty three clubs. Those clubs are the society for the study of economic, the society for the study of society for the study of hospitality, the society for the study of geography, and the society for the study of health and physical.
The sports clubs are active nearly every day, but the others clubs are active once a week. In autumn, a school festival called TAKUMASAI is held every year. It is a big event of our university. The festival opens for three days. Each club sells original foods. Those foods are made by belonging students. Then, the clubs of cultural committee exhibit many each works.

The circle can make a lot of friends, and the circle build human relations. And, it can learn many important things. It can make a lot of wonderful memory of campus life.
